Classification of QR codes

QR code comes from the abbreviation of "Quick Response" in English, which means quick response. It originated from the inventor's hope that QR codes can quickly decode their content.QR code is most commonly used in Japan, South Korea; and for the most popular two-dimensional space bar code in Japan. However, the security of QR codes is also being challenged, with malware and viruses becoming a stumbling block on the road to QR code popularity. Developing and preventing the misuse of QR codes is becoming an urgent issue. Each code system has its own specific character set; each character occupies a certain width; has a certain check function, etc.. At the same time, it also has the function of automatic identification of information on different lines and the handling of graphic rotation changes and other characteristics.
 
QR codes are a more advanced bar code format than 1D codes. A 1D code can only express information in one direction (usually horizontal), whereas a 2D code can store information both horizontally and vertically. One-dimensional codes can only consist of numbers and letters, whereas 2D codes can store information such as Chinese characters, numbers and pictures, making 2D codes much more versatile.
